I am involved with MRW is to help preserve the greatness we have in the Mississippi River Valley. I grew up in this area. For a while after College I lived in many different places in the Central States region. I could not wait to return. I enjoy all aspects of our area such as hunting, fishing, recreational boating and all water sports. I especially love the seasonal changes on the Mississippi from spring and fall migrations and the color of changes of nature to the warmth and beauty of the summers. Please join us to keep our little piece of the world sacred.

Like many of us, I took this great resource for granted. I assumed it was public land and it would never change. I've come to realize how important the Upper Miss is not only for our recreational benefits, but for the many creatures that depend on it for their survival. My involvement with Mississippi River Wild can help to preserve and protect this river for future generations. |

Water has always meant life to all God's creatures. We are
all drawn to it, some more than others. I know when I am on the river, it is a
great attitude adjustment for me. A time to reflect on how lucky I am. Whatever
we can do to preserve this beautiful resource for future generations and
instill the values in our children should be our little part of giving
back. Together we really can make a difference.
